Key Role:
Work as an action officer supporting the firm's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engagement agenda, including managing and overseeing execution of the CEO's internal and external engagement strategy, working closely with leaders across the firm, identifying objectives and initiatives, recommending engagement opportunities, prioritizing and ensuring proper preparation for meetings and events, and systematically tracking outcomes and follow-up actions. Ensure CEO priorities are defined and used to drive external and internal engagement through collaboration with Booz Allen functional leaders, government, investor, and media relations and business leaders. Ensure alignment to firm business needs and maximize value and impact through diverse forums and mediums. Establish means to produce independent analyses that measure effectiveness and return on investment for CEO time spent and improve decision making for future engagements and priorities. Share the mission of the CEO agenda with critical leaders and teams and maintain relationships and open lines of communication with key internal and external stakeholders. Maintain a system of record for events and relationships. This position requires the ability to travel to attend engagements, as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • 5+ years of experience with program management in the public affairs space
  • Knowledge of the US legislative agenda, including current events and business protocols pertaining to the Executive and Legislative branches of the US government
  • Ability to develop and drive a strategy and accompanying initiatives, including tracking progress and milestones
  • Ability to leverage expertise in analytics to measure value gained from initiatives
  • Ability to work with senior-internal leaders to prioritize engagement agenda initiatives against other business priorities
  • Ability to manage relationships with senior-level individuals across internal client, corporate, and government environments
  • Ability to leverage judgement, time management, and organizational capabilities, including navigating competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to develop and present analyses and recommendations to senior-level executives and stakeholders
  • Ability to be a self-motivated, independent contributor who is also an excellent team player who fosters professionalism, exudes integrity, and maintains confidentiality in all actions
  • Ability to travel between DC metro, McLean, VA, and Bethesda, MD regularly and supplement with additional travel as needed
  • BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to demonstrate executive presence
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • MA or MS degree
