Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) Software Engineer Graduate Intern
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature.
Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.
Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Seeking a motivated engineer that thinks outside the box when problem solving.
Candidates will be fundamentally improving the Integrated Cross Module Process Control Systems (ICMPCS) data analysis as their primary role and responsibility.
Relational databases, Machine Learning, scripting (i.e. Python, JSL, R, Rust).
Close projects on time and autonomously (with proven results).
Statistics and/or programming
Successes required in more than one area relational database structures Machine Learning scripting (eg JSL and programming languages eg Python R research methods, Big Data technologies, Data Mining Artificial Intelligence predictive modeling probability and statistics, Design of Experiments Process Controls systems and other data analysis techniques to apply innovative solution for solving complex engineering problems).
Articulate the analytical results implications and tradeoffs.
Use predictive modeling statistics Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning Data Mining and other data analysis techniques to collect explore and extract insights from structure and unstructured data .
Develop algorithms and applications to apply statistical modelling to data perform large scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy .
Consult with engineer to design and analyze experiments teach established statistical analysis Best Known Methods to engineering communities and develop new statistical methods as needed.

This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Pursuing a master's degree (6+ months of experience) or PhD degree (1+ years of experience) in Statistics or Computer Science or Software Engineering or Materials Science or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or relevant major.
6+ months of experience (with one or more):
Pandas matplotlib plotly bokeh
Data pooling using Python or SQL
Mongo Oracle Postgre
Probability distributions statistical significance hypothesis testing and regression
MLAI Bayesian networks preferred
ICMPCS Scripting Skills preferred
