Full Job Description
As the national space Cyber operations engineer and lead, you'll manage multiple Cybersecurity, and engineering teams and contracts focused on novel and non-traditional capabilities to meet an Intelligence Community client's Cyber operations and mission requirements. You'll lead technical staff focused on client site delivery and be actively involved in every aspect of contract oversight and client relationship management. You will manage contract financials and reporting requirements for agile contracts while building robust industry relationships to meet a full spectrum of Cyber requirements. You'll coordinate work with other contract teams delivering in the same client space as well as vendors on our team, providing unique and cutting-edge Cyber solutions. You'll identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions.
We need to come up with the best solution to investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. This is a chance to make a difference in the security of the Intelligence Community. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint-based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. You'll broaden your skillset into areas like Cyber fusion, Cyber threat hunt, and Cyber data science while building peace of mind in critical infrastructure. 5+ years of experience with managing engineering contracts of various sizes and performing system engineering, Cybersecurity, or information assurance
Experience with systems integration or systems engineering and Cybersecurity
Experience with managing and communicating metrics reporting for various types of government contracts
Experience with government contracting and the Intelligence Community
Ability to build and maintain excellent trusted client relationships
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
HS diploma or GED required
Nice If You Have:
Experience with managing Agile teams for software development and managing IT infrastructure projects
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Knowledge of Cyber vulnerability research and analysis or fundamental computer exploitation or computer network defense or A&A
BA or BS degree in CS, EE, Computer Information Systems, Cyber, IT or a related technical field preferred
