Account - Operations Manager

WESS is a crowd management company focused on stadiums, arenas, convention centers and other event locations nationwide. We will host and provide work for over 100 large local events this year.

What You’ll Do:
An Account - Operations Manager directs and coordinates activities of industrial organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and improve profits. The most qualified individual will come with considerable experience demonstrating success managing large-scale events (attendees exceeding 20k) with extra credit for experience leading successful operations in a stadium setting with a nonexempt workforce.

What You’ve Done:
You have a unique combination of skills, talents and mindset, including:
Recent experience working in a rapidly changing environment that involves a high-volume of incoming/outgoing requests and a validated ability to effectively organize and respond to all inquiries in a timely fashion
Demonstrated experience, or a desire to learn, multiple facets of Event Staffing. This includes working with large volumes of people (200+ part-time staff) and over 20,000 attendees at any given event
Running and overseeing all aspects of operations activities including, but not limited to: operations planning, qualifying potential business, operational review of events and profitability. Overall responsibility for customer happiness on all installed accounts
Ability to develop and implement operations strategies that improve execution and provide additional value in a cost-effective manner
Proven to effectively communicate goals to the operations team and communicate with the wider organization and maintains accurate and up to date records necessary for processing of internal and external reports
Precise execution of responsibility for all applicable contracts – estimated cost vs. actual cost; review of contracts; supervision of labor and subcontractors; planning and scheduling contracts, preparation of invoices, and collections
The desire to proactively communicate with and seek feedback from all customers; strives to continuously improve customer happiness; meets with customers on a regular basis to ensure we are meeting their needs
