Job Summary
American Addiction Centers (AAC) is committed to elevating the standard of online addiction content, reducing the stigma surrounding addiction, and connecting families and individuals nationwide with quality treatment facilities, and we’re looking for an SEO Team Lead to join our Marketing team!
Also, please note: this is a full-time, remote position.
Duties and Responsibilities: to include but not limited to the following:
- Lead, mentor, and develop SEO team members to enhance performance and achieve project objectives.

Coordinate and oversee SEO activities, ensuring effective communication and timely completion of tasks

Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews

On-site content installation and optimization, including formatting, adding meta titles, descriptions, and internal linking

On-site SEO projects and tasks, including fixing broken links, crawl errors, 301 redirects, and other on-site optimization efforts

Keyword research and analysis of content performance across multiple websites

Management of local listings and profiles of multiple businesses and locations

Responsible for the health of entire sites from an SEO perspective; analytics, search console, technical issues from 301’s, backlink profiles keyword & research along with aiding the content team in ideation

Identify and communicate areas of opportunity or improvement across our entire portfolio of 30+ sites

Create robust, and well thought out SEO briefs that push industry standards to the next level

Strong understanding of site architecture, from the URL to the topic along with the and hub / spoke content model.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field

2+ years of experience blogging, website admin, and HTML
-
Very comfortable with excel
-
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently (self-starter) but also a team player

Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a number of digital assets

Working knowledge of Wordpress and HTML

Knowledge of industry tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog)

Ability to parse insights from said tools

Uses Data to inform decisions
