If you have 3+ years of experience as a PATENT PROSECUTION SECRETARY the salary will go to 95K with a top benefits package. Can be flexible on salary depending on years of experience.

Format and e-file patent prosecution documents via USPTO-EFS for entire life-cycle of prosecution including Amendments, petitions, restriction requirements, Advisory Actions, Notice of incomplete documents, information disclosure statements, and response to Notice to file Missing Parts and Certificate of Corrections.
Prepare client transfers, engagement letters and templates for Patent Prosecution
Request for Continued Examinations, Notice of Allowances and payment of Issued Fees
Ensure maintenance fees and annuity renewals are paid
Obtain prior art
File proof receipts and issued patents
Review and submit formal drawings
Prepare forms and documents for patent application filings and patent prosecution
Monitor and update prosecution deadlines
Investigate prosecution-related issues in PAIR
Perform matter research through PAIR, WIPO and Espace
Review and respond to daily docket to ensure deadlines are met
Make travel and hotel arrangements
Attorney timekeeping and expense reimbursement

3+ years experience in a law firm environment or related professional experience.
Strong domestic patent experience is required.
Strong typing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Applications. US Patent and Trademark Office Electronic Filing System (EFS), Patent Application information Retrieval (PAIR), Familiarity with CPI docketing database, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat, Martin Dean’s Essential forms.
Previous experience with File Site/I-Manage, Elite, and Legal Key is a plus.
Knowledge of legal terminology and USPTO system and rules for filings and correspondence.
