James Beard award winning Chef is seeking a Pastry Sous Chef for our modern American /French cuisine restaurant.
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience in a fine dining restaurant. Must be able to communicate clearly with his/her managers and his/her teammates and to keep his/her production to the level required by the Executive Chef.
Candidate is expected to:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment throughout the shift in accordance with Health Department and restaurant standards.
Maintain the high standards established by the Executive Chef.
Has the ability to perform all essential duties during a lengthy, high-volume and high-pressure service.
Must be able to follow instructions from Chef throughout the service.
Culinary graduate preferred !
