Our team of pulmonologists and respiratory therapists are experienced in treating all lung and breathing conditions. Physicians also schedule appointments two days a month in the Outreach Clinic at St. Vincent Warrick Hospital in Boonville, Indiana, for added convenience.
What you will do:
As a part of our Respiratory department you will help with the evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
Assesses patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis.
Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.
Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.
Respond to emergency resuscitation team code.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire or job transfer date
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Respiratory Therapist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Minimum Qualification: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program. Must be registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
