Computer Information Systems Administrator

Successful applicant will provide internal support to servers, networks, workstations, and business software. Troubleshoots problems and ensures that installed network is operating efficiently and effectively. May perform preventive maintenance and back-up recovery activities. Act as a first level problem identification and resolution resource, including answering questions, providing advice, investigating, troubleshooting, and following-up to assist users in solving data processing problems. Directs IT operations including computer operations, technical support, systems analysis and programming. May also direct database management, telecommunications, IT training and microcomputer technology. Establishes technical priorities, standards, and procedures. Ensures sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs.


  • Email server and filtering systems support.
  • Virtual server, desktop and application solutions support.
  • Enterprise antivirus and antimalware support and maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge in hardware/firmware and software testing, configuration, installation and patch management.
  • Asset inventory tracking, auditing, maintenance and replenishment.
  • Responses for advanced systems issues (network, server, backup and storage)
  • Manages network, application, and email security accounts and their access levels, creation, administration, auditing, and deletions.
  • Manage installation, maintenance, repair and inventory of all computers, computer peripherals and telecommunications equipment for manufacturing company.
  • Coordinate user problem resolution with other data processing sections if necessary, and track and report recurring problems.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively relate and communicate technical automation concepts within company
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects at a time;
  • Ensures sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs
  • Answer questions and instruct system users on procedures for utilizing the network.

5-8 years experience in help desk and network environment
Experience troubleshooting Microsoft, Linux, and Macintosh Operating Systems
Knowledge of manufacturing JDE and (MRP/ERP) databases highly desired
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
