Junior Business Analyst, Financial Application Support

The Financial Application Support team within Enterprise Services and Systems is seeking a Business Analyst. This position combines the skills of a business analyst and project manager. You will learn and support existing financial forecasting applications and participate in ongoing forecast system enhancement and development projects. As a key member of the project team, you will work collaboratively with project stakeholders on all aspects of the project life cycle, including analysis, requirements, testing, training, and BAU support.

Key responsibilities:
Working as a liaison between business partners and system developers with responsibility for assessing customer business needs, and documenting detailed business requirements and system specifications
Documenting as-is and to-be processes
Developing test scripts and conducting both unit and integration tests
Assisting with user testing and documentation
Assist in preparation of user training and communications
Providing post production support of implemented systems and processes
Updating and monitoring project tasks and plans with the project manager

Minimum of 2-4 years of hands on business analyst responsibilities preferably in finance/accounting field
Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
A conscientious; detail-orientated nature
Strong written and oral communication skills, well-developed analytic reasoning and curiosity
Desire to work in team based environment as well as ability to perform independent analysis
Strong PC skills, particularly MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
A college degree in one of the following fields: Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting
