Talent Development, within Human Resources, broadly supports employee development through both enterprise-wide and business-specific talent initiatives.
Integrated Services for the Americas (ISA) plays an integral role in MUFG Americas’ success and is comprised of the technology, operations and process excellence, information security, and project management functions for MUFG Americas.
The Training & Development, Assistant Vice President will support ISA’s training and awareness initiatives by performing program management and training design and coordination. The successful candidate must possess a passion for learning, attention to details, be highly organized, and able to drive tasks to completion with a high degree of quality.
Work with ISA leaders and managers to understand specific learning needs and design appropriate training solutions that support the broader ISA Talent Development Strategy
Collaborate with Human Resource Business Partners, ISA Employee Engagement, and other internal partners to deliver holistic, integrated development solutions
Work, as applicable, with external vendors to design training solutions. Manage contracting process for all ISA training vendors
Coordinate the logistics as needed related to training and development delivery, including room booking, AV requirements, material preparation
Work with ISA Employee Engagement to support and provide input to their communications strategy, driving training enrollment and utilization of training resources
Maintain training records for employees in ISA and compile’s reports for review. Uses Learning Management System ( LMS) administration for class scheduling, course completions
Develop standardization of training reports. Track and report on training outcomes for classes on the ISA Training & Awareness Strategy
Design and develop a training site to communicate Training Schedules, Course Catalog, learning maps and certifications available ISA employees
Perform other Talent Development related duties for ISA as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of Training and Development experience, managing training programs and working with a Learning Management System. Instructional design experience is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge in training coordination, managing multiple training events in a corporate setting.
Understands training methodologies and project management best practices
Proven problem solver with strong business analytics
Proficient in MS Office applications, SharePoint. Able to use data and metrics to tell a story
Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work with staffs at all levels
Ability to creatively and effectively convey ideas through verbal and written communications.
Experience working in either Technology or Financial Services industries preferred
