Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide support to Russell Investments’ programs focused on learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and associate engagement. The HR Associate will focus on project management, communication, administration, and facilitation for a variety of programs and systems including Workday Learning, associate resource groups, Diversity and Inclusion Council, associate engagement committees, leadership and management training initiatives, mentorship programs, and other associate-focused projects.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

Manage the ‘Workday Learning’ learning management system (LMS) including uploading and advertising training content and programs, producing completion reports, organizing curriculum, and creating campaigns, and reporting.
Act as the main contact for all inquiries related to learning and development and diversity and inclusion -including group mailbox and calendar management.
Provide overall project management and communication for the Diversity and Inclusion Council, as well as the global Associate Resource Groups including meeting scheduling, communication, construction dissemination, and management of overall initiatives; ensuring all programming occurs as planned.
Draft communications and internal advertising for learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and associate engagement activities, and disseminate to varied audiences.
Manage monthly manager training/information series including researching articles, podcasts, webinars, and on-line training, constructing presentations and information guides, gathering internal subject matter experts to create content, upload content into the LMS, and draft and disseminate communications.
Provide ongoing coordination of global mentoring programs – conducting matches, ensuring engagement and reporting, communicating program rules and progress, and surveying participants on success metrics.
Manage global intranet SharePoint pages related to training programs, tuition reimbursement and professional development policies, Diversity and Inclusion, and associate social activities.
Oversee multiple learning, diversity, and social budgets and expenses, escalating issues to the director, and communicating regular budget and expense updates to stakeholders.
Manage global projects related to learning, diversity, and social engagement including programs related to leadership, recognition, inclusion, and associate conduct.

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

Bachelor's degree – with focus in Human Resources or business preferred.
3+ years experience as an HR Generalist, project manager, or learning specialist.
High energy, and strong level of initiative to manage conflicting priorities and projects and appropriately.
Strong customer service skills and achievement drive – with a desire to create an engaging work environment for all associates.
Familiarity with training design and learning management systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of associates.
Interest in developing presentation and facilitation skills to manage meetings and facilitate trainings
Superior organization skills to appropriately manage global projects, provide frequent communication updates, escalate issues as necessary, and ensure deadlines are met amongst all stakeholders.
Solid written communication skills in order to draft company-wide memos and advertisements concisely.
Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in calendaring and scheduling, and familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with Camtasia a plus.
