Director of Strategic Partnerships
Cosential is hiring a Director of Partnerships to help grow the footprint and ecosystem awareness for Cosential's CRM platform. This is a role that will be responsible for significant channel growth and partnership strategy. The ideal candidate is a seasoned SaaS software pro who understands the value and challenges of Channel Sales. This individual will partner with other firms who sell to the AEC market with the purpose of supercharging awareness, cross selling and opportunity creation.

Based in Downtown Austin, we’re an agile, fast-growing SaaS development company that is dedicated to the Architect, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. We’re lead by accomplished professionals with proven success in several markets including SaaS, ADTech, MarTech, Hardware, Marketing/Media, and much more. Cosential is a purpose-built CRM and Proposal Management software that has deep brand recognition and is well-received in the industry and organizations we serve. No other CRM can touch the practical workflows or customized solutions we have built for AEC firms. Our clients sell “experience” as their product and Cosential helps them do it better, faster, and smarter.

Cosential requires the ideal candidate to reside and work in Austin, Texas at Cosential headquarters, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. No relocation packages available. Position starts ASAP. This is a full-time role with competitive salary+commission packages and benefits.

Responsibilities include:

Forming strategic Partnerships and Alliances with similarly focused companies who also sell to the AEC industry. Establishing and managing critical success metrics. Managing intra-departmental relationships effectively. Determining the appropriate technical path to facilitate an appropriate partnership. Ongoing, deep relationship management. Measuring effectiveness over months, quarters and annually. You will be building a Partner Program and Partner Ecosystem from the ground, up. The right candidate will have a sales mentality to developing partner relationships.

Skills Required:

  • 4+ years of relative sales or partnership experience in a fast paced, metrics-driven work environment.
  • SaaS software experience is required.
  • Deep familiarity with using or selling a CRM.
  • Must be able to lead product demonstrations and deep dives.
  • Ability to travel off-site to events when needed, as well as 25-30% travel to see and establish Partners.
  • Articulate Cosential’s value proposition to prospective partners through all outlets (phone, online, and in-person).
  • Record of meeting monthly sales or Lead Gen targets.
  • Personality that includes: competitive, tenacious, fearless, hungry, driven and friendly.
  • Familiarity with the Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction industry is a huge plus.
  • Familiarity with ConTech (Construction industry technology) is a huge plus.
