The Commercial Financial Reporting team is responsible for the consolidation of financial statement data for the Boeing Commercial Airplanes division and the commercial side of Boeing Global Services division. The team consolidates data from different groups within Boeing and our subsidiaries as well as analyzes and reports on the results. Team members also provide accounting guidance to other teams and participate in special projects.

This role contains a variety of accounting tasks such as:
Journal entries
Account reconciliations
Variance analysis and reporting
Preparing closing schedules for Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting
Creating and analyzing reports.
There will also be a focus on lean improvements and the employee will be able to work with other team members to identify and implement improvements and automation. The employee will work with accountants from other groups within Boeing and at our subsidiaries.

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience.

Required qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
1+ year working with Financial Data (i.e accounting, financial planning, cost management, legal and/or contracts)
A high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (examples: formatting, creating spreadsheet, pivots, etc.)
Experience with theory and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
