Provide/arrange provision of pastoral care to premature, neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, their families and staff on a regular and emergency basis. Participate fully in the Clinical Pastoral Education Program. The Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Resident will be expected to function professionally in an egalitarian environment in all situations to include: crisis intervention, the scene of a death, in a group/therapeutic context. The Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Resident will be expected to commit to the YRMC Clinical Pastoral Education Program for a minimum of one year.
Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Theological or Spiritual Education/Training.
Master’s Degree or Equivalent in Theological or Spiritual Education from an accredited institution recognized by the Association of Theological Schools. Endorsement or Good Standing with a religious or spiritual body.
