The Head of Project Execution is responsible for the delivery of a large variety of multidiscipline CAPEX projects. Responsible for managing Project Execution Leads to ensure all project activities are executed safely, cost effectively, and to schedule.
Influence and coordinate with the Head of Engineering.
Apply improvement initiatives/learning across the portfolio to deliver a program of continuous improvement.
Delivering reports and performance information in order to early identify deviations from the schedule and budget.
Development of project management competences in the Engineering and Projects department.
Select contractors and vendors and monitor their performance.
Provide leadership, supervision, technical guidance and mentoring to personnel.
Achieve integration of operational requirements and philosophies into the project execution function.
Accountable for on-time engineering deliverables, procured materials and equipment to sites.
Experienced engineering projects manager with a minimum of 10 years experience leading multi-functional across a number of supply chain roles within the food manufacturing industry, with a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
CPG Food Engineering expertise in theories and principles of the professional field, as demonstrated by previous successful project and/or program implementations.
Experience and capability to assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering solutions.
Demonstrated ability to Direct/Lead/Manage cross functional teams on large capital project/programs of $30MM - $50MM or more
Confident leader and capable of working in a multicultural environment.
Good analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and English communication skills – verbal and written.
Proven extensive experience within project execution and engineering.
Proven to be successful in striving to improve industry knowledge, especially in terms of project management techniques used in the industry.
Ability to travel as needed.
