The Senior Analyst, Accounting & Compliance role is pivotal in providing insight to the Company’s global restructuring programs, including their impact on the financial performance of Company. This role also plays an integral part in driving company wide compliance with various critical financial policies. This is a high-visibility role that liaises across multiple functions and coordinates the flow of information between multiple levels of management. This role has frequent direct exposure to the Company’s executives and other key global decision-makers. This role also assists with other significant projects, which vary based on business transactions and priorities.
Key Components of the role:
Manage all financials aspects of the global restructuring programs, including budgeting, forecasting and analyzing the actual impacts of the programs on the overall financial performance of the Company as well as on key financial metrics;
Help ensure the financial impacts of the global restructuring programs are correctly accounted for under US GAAP and reported correctly in the Company’s SEC filings
Assist with Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB) reporting, analysis and compliance requirements for the Global Fees ZBB Package;
Prepare standard and ad-hoc analyses to drive insight of key variances between current year actual results and prior year results as well as the annual operating budget and latest forecast;
Create long-term financial forecasts to help facilitate long-term strategic decision making by the Company’s executives;
Work frequently across multiple functions including Finance/BBP, Operations, Treasury, Tax, etc. to ensure the financial impacts of the global restructuring programs and the Global Fees ZBB Package are appropriately captured and clearly understood across all levels of the Company
Help manage the end-to-end Management Approval Committee process to facilitate CFO and CEO approval for contracts, consulting agreements, and outsourcing / restructuring projects to drive critical compliance with company policies;
Assist with updating certain financial policies and processes to enhance operating efficiencies and drive compliance;
Assist with special projects which vary based on business transactions and priorities.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of three years of experience in Accounting or Finance role
Ability to effectively lead, manage and prioritize multiple projects
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Strong work-ethic, communication skills (written and verbal), and drive to learn
Excellent analytical, teamwork, customer service and leadership skills
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and SAP a plus with heavy Excel skills preferred
