Background and Role Description:
BetterUp is growing rapidly and we are seeking an experienced analyst who can lead our sales teams as we grow. This role will provide direct support to Sales leaders and the Director of Sales Operations in producing weekly and quarterly sales KPI. This person will also serve as a lead between functional groups to ensure that sales data elements are well defined, used consistently and understood by all functions. In this capacity it is important that the Senior Analyst works closely with IT/CRM functions to define data fields in Salesforce.com, any related workflows, and data entry/collection methods (sales rep, vs AI or other). BetterUp is a fast growing start up – we are looking for an experienced analyst who can take a leadership role and grow with our team over time. Experience working in a medium to large SAS Enterprise will be extremely valuable in this position.

Key responsibilities:
Produce weekly sales KPI reporting and automate using BI tools over time.
Define and produce quarterly QBR data packages, charts, and sales performance metrics.
Work cross functionally with Finance, Operations and Marketing to define metrics and data fields in Salesforce.com and ensure their availability in BI tools (Domo).
Answer field questions and provide guidance around key performance metrics, sales compensation, business planning and other areas as needed.
Support Director of Sales Operations and VP Sales with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.

Experience Required:
2+ years' experience in a sales operations or sales finance role, supporting a sales team/leader.
Experience leading cross functional programs at a medium sized enterprise.
2+ years' experience working in a finance or operations role at a medium to large sized SAS business
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business related field. MBA a plus.

Experience Desired:
2-4 years supporting and enterprise direct / channel business.
2-4 years supporting a VP Sales role.
Experience with sales compensation and commission plan design for an enterprise / SAS business.
Experience supporting a post sales team, renewals team for a large SAS enterprise.

Skills required:
Superior communication skills and the ability to lead cross functional projects with Finance, Marketing, IT and Sales.
Ability to distill complex data into easy to understand analysis with actionable recommendations.
Expert user of Excel and Powerpoint and/or GSuite applications. Ability to create complex financial models and summarize data in charts, graphs and tables designed for executive leadership.
Self starter – ability to run with limited direction, in a fast paced and rapidly evolving business environment.
Experience using BI tools (Domo, Tableau or similar)
Salesforce.com user, administration experience is a plus.
Ability to have fun in a fast-paced work environment.
