Global Marketing Director, Digital Products – Acute Therapies

Leads the Acute Therapies/Critical Care digital products team, creating solutions that solve core business challenges, address key therapeutic problems, and increase the value of existing products in the portfolio via the digital product channel.
Global marketing responsibility for the growing Acute Therapies Digital Products Portfolio
Execute and extend the Acute Therapies digital product strategy, establish digital innovation partnerships, provide technical product management for connectivity & analytics platforms, lead new product launches and go to market activities with downstream regions.
Requires an entrepreneurial mindset, change management leadership, and a strong ability to partner and influence across cross-functions and businesses to communicate / accelerate execution of the roadmap.
Critical Responsibilities
Creation, communication and global execution of short- & long- term strategic roadmap of Acute Therapies/Critical Care digital solutions
Integration of digital products strategy with Acute Therapies/Critical Care core business needs and value proposition
In partnership with internal and external development teams, build and deliver a portfolio of digital products, services and capabilities
Lead upstream and downstream product execution, including development of high performance Go to Market strategies, evidence generation, KOL engagement, and process design
Build Acute device connectivity and interoperability strategy, including global product / service layers, relationship management with health IT vendors, and Baxter device roadmaps
Partner with central Digital Health and other business units on cross-business digital innovations and initiatives
Partner with business development teams to identify and integrate new technology or partnership opportunities, including IoT, AI / ML, data acquisition, diagnostic sensors, or clinical decision support
Global travel up to 25%
Key Qualifications & Attributes
Demonstrated leadership experience in scaling products within a dynamic and white space environment, including developing vision and strategy and working with a diverse set of stakeholders to execute.
Technical product management experience in use case development, story / requirements development, agile methodologies and enabling technologies such as IoT, EMR / EHRs, HL7 / FHIR, or data analytics is preferred.
Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to identify assumptions and draw conclusions.
Strong business and financial acumen as well as strategic thinking skills.
Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment and lead teams virtually.
Results driven, highly accountable.
Ability to identify, communicate and execute innovative ideas or partnerships
Education/Experience
10+ years marketing and strategy experience.
Upstream marketing: user need identification & prioritization, new product development, R&D/RA partnerships, etc. Downstream marketing: pricing strategy, launch, campaign strategy and execution, regional/country engagement, etc.
1+ year/s in a customer-facing role/s (sales, customer service, etc.)
Demonstrated success driving aligned, global commercial launches to meet / exceed targets
Global team leadership & development
Considerable experience within a matrixed environment, with demonstrated skills influencing cross-functional teams, organization executives and key stakeholders
BS/BA required
Preferred
MBA
Digital and/or health technologies experience
Global marketing experience.
Medical device or pharmaceutical experience
Critical care/ ICU experience
Experience in predictive analytics or clinical decision support
