As a Helpdesk Support Intern, you must be able to provide user guidance and first-level support by assisting with incident resolution. You must be able to provide solid customer service in a demanding environment and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with end users. Qualified candidates are able to translate technical jargon and concepts to non-technical users.
This is a part-time, 20-30 hours per week, paid internship located in Herndon, VA. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Herndon location.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with basic Help Desk support (Tier 1)
- Assist with computer setups and upgrades, phones, and other IT-supported devices
- Assist with providing IT orientation sessions for new employees
- Assist staff with AV systems setup in conference rooms
- Provide support for special projects related to hardware and software enhancement and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Must be a current student seeking internship or a recent graduate with a degree in the Information Technology field
- Show meticulous attention to detail, great organizational skills, and a positive, can-do attitude
- Possess superior oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people at all levels of the firm
- Able to meet deadlines while juggling multiple requests and projects
COMPENSATION
This is a part-time position located in our Herndon, VA office. Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
