YNHH is seeking medical assistants to join our Westport, CT location!

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians/providers with patient care, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians/providers with patient care, including rooming patients and performing clinical tasks.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient charts.
- Provide patients with information to help them make the most of our services.
- Uphold a positive image of the practice and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Maintain patient autonomy, confidentiality, and dignity during interactions.
- Serve as a chaperone for medical procedures when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program preferred.
- Medical Assisting Certification (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of private practice medical assistant experience in primary care or specialist office.
- Licensure as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
