Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work closely with business leaders to drive improvements in the financial planning process and decision-support mechanisms for our evolving global business. You will also partner closely with Economists to refine productivity measurement and scaling mechanisms, driving the measurement of downstream impact in all aspects of the T&C business. The business has been growing rapidly with increased complexity in new product and platform offerings and we need a strong finance advocate to challenge the current status quo and refine the value of our WW program efforts. Primary responsibilities include:
- Evaluate the training landscape and economics and make pricing recommendations for new and existing products
- Evaluate the LTV (long term value) and DSI (down stream impact) on current and future AWS trainees and products
- Lead the development of financial models and advanced analytical tools that aid in key decision making and productivity measurement
- Build rhythm of the business processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction
- Drive improvement in financial structure and scaling mechanisms
The successful candidate will have shown experiences in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision-making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self-starter with strong modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- MBA from a highly regarded business school is preferred
- Highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality.
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.
- Strong skills in accessing and using analytical tools, including SQL.
- Industry experience in professional services or in partnering with technology sales organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization of competing deadlines, planning and task delegation.
