This dual role is critical to overall growth and daily operations and is a very diverse and rewarding opportunity for the right person. Your responsibilities will include both sales efforts, including proactive communication with customers and prospects (follow-up and satisfaction calls, dormant account calls, marketing list verification, etc.), and customer service efforts, such as helping phone and walk-in customers, writing up estimates and orders, and ensuring all information is communicated to the production team.

As an Inside Sales and Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will be to develop new business and grow sales and ensure current customer satisfaction through excellent service, on-going communication with customers and prospects, and on-going service and support to walk-in and call-in customers. Your sales goals and activities will be established with your supervisor, and duties will be split between proactive sales efforts and customer service/marketing support.

Our ideal candidate is an outgoing, focused, and motivated individual with at least two years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the printing industry. Strong computer and internet skills are required, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and estimating software (Printer's Plan, PrintSmith, etc.). We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills, and good math and problem-solving skills. Candidates must be able to work in an environment that includes exposure to ink and chemical fumes, airborne particles (dust, drying powder, etc.), and loud noise levels and must be able to move freely throughout the center and stand for long periods of time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and grows a target list of prospects and customers
Conducts proactive phone calling, estimate follow-up and tracking, dormant account calls, customer satisfaction calls, and list verification calls
Captures leads and adds them to the marketing cycle
Provides weekly reports of sales activities
Performs annual sales planning
Manages incoming calls for the Center
Writes estimates and work orders
Assists walk-in customers
Handles routine questions and requests by customers
Completes ongoing filing and ensures the organization of the customer service area
Follows up on work being produced to ensure accurate and timely delivery
Deals with customer complaints and concerns and facilitates a satisfactory resolution as quickly as possible
Works with other sales people in the Center to support them as needed
Maintains an understanding of the overall marketing programs being used by the Center
Maintains a complete understanding of the product and service offerings of the Center
Generates new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
Answers the telephone using the company's procedures for incoming calls and directs calls appropriately
Determines customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
Recommends alternate products based on customer specifications
Presents price, credit, and terms in accordance with company policy and procedures
Accurately processes customer orders and quotes
Proactively recommends products and services needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
Contacts customers following order delivery to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints
Performs routine follow-up calls
Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required
At least one year of experience in a similar position
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet
Knowledge of estimating software preferred, such as Printer’s Plan or PrintSmith
Experience with CRM or other customer service software a plus
Experience/skills in cross-selling, upselling, closing, and Solution Selling techniques
Understanding of the Marketing Services Provider Strategy

Knowledge of company products and services
Good problem-solving skills
