Role / Title:
Position provides an outstanding opportunity to gain broad experience across all Zones for finance. Individual will have exposure to full P&L and will participate in company-wide projects and initiatives. Individual will be responsible for the global consolidation and analysis of the total company actual and forecasted results throughout the monthly finance cycle. Opportunity to contribute analytics and provide input on key strategies and plans across different categories and business units. Significant interaction with Senior Leadership teams across the globe, including the Global CFO, Zone CFOs, and VP of Financial Planning.
Key Components of the role:
Owns the consolidation of Global CFO’s main planning and reporting activities, including monthly KHC Business Management cycle (i.e. Monthly Forecast Review, EVP, MPR, Finance Committee)
Support process of monthly consolidation, forecast updates and tracking against budget, prior year, and prior forecasts
Assist on financial planning, modeling, and preparation of presentations to board and senior leadership (CEO, CFO, Zone Presidents, 3G)
Main point of contact between Global FP&A and Zone FP&A teams, as well as Global Finance functions (i.e. Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, Tax, etc.)
Drive financial performance by leveraging cross-zone/cross-functional best practices with the opportunity to develop and standardize processes which do not currently exist today
Oversees and manages Global monthly consumption and market share reporting for routine deliverables
Responsible for inputs and full ownership of delivering global daily sales and pacing reports
Responsible for periodic Key Performance Indicator reporting to support company-wide variable compensation tracking / achievement
Provide analytical support to 5 global Zones on business results and achieving financial targets (e.g. tracking Risks & Opps, Action Plans, etc.)
Help lead tactical execution of the 2021 Global Finance Calendar – hold Zones / finance counterparts accountable to submission deadlines and ensure cross-team communication
Significant ad hoc opportunities for leadership and analytics
Support for potential M&A work
Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field (i.e. Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, etc.) is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience in Consulting, Corporate Finance, or Accounting preferred
FiT, Hyperion, Tableau and/or SAP skills preferred
A strong drive to learn and willingness to assume senior-level responsibility
Demonstrated ability to multitask and make key decisions with little guidance.
Proficiency in financial statement analysis and accounting.
Demonstrated strong accounting and analytical skills, as well as broad business acumen
Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint, and attention to detail skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a high intensity environment, managing multiple projects concurrently with limited direct supervision
Ability to work with and manage workflows with a broad variety of teams
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies
