Full Job Description
The School of Science invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Plant Biology. The Department of Biology is specifically searching for an instructor to teach a course designed for Biology and Environmental Science majors who have completed one year of introductory biology. The successful candidate will join a department characterized by a strong sense of community in which students are the central focus and faculty who are both accessible and approachable.
Minimum qualifications include an M.A. or M.S. in Biology or closely related field, strong interest in undergraduate education, a commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, and interest in working collaboratively with others.
The Adjunct Instructor will be required to teach Plant Biology.
Desirable candidates will have prior teaching experience, especially at the college level.
