MECHANICAL ENGINEER: Responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release automotive components such as Body Interiors, Body Exteriors, Sheet Metal Structures, Closures Systems, Powertrain Systems, and/or Chassis Systems;

Performs quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management; Ability to interact with the Designers through surface development and feasibility; Participates in the development and execution of product verification plans, engineering sign-off; Experience with DesignFailure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), DesignVerification Plan & Report (DVP&R), GD&T; Working knowledge of System Design Specifications.
