Role: SR. System Analyst (Scrum Master).
Job Type: 6 months Contract to Hire (C2H).
Location : Chevy Chase, MD
Provide Scrum Master duties for Team (Scrum/Agile two-week sprints)
Cloud Core/Automation program management - provide program level metrics and project management artifacts where requested by Youssef and management.
Assist with developing weekly status reports.
Run Daily stand-up
Assist with Sprint Pre-planning meetings (audit for Product Owner)
Assist with Sprint Planning meeting where needed.
Assist Product Owner with end of sprint review meetings
Hold team accountable for Scrum process and proper backlog management relating to users stories, bugs and tasks.
Produce Scrum Metrics and present to management and team for continual service delivery improvement within the Scrum Process
Best practices for VSTS usage to support the Scrum Process. Develop repeatable processes for other teams, including backlog management (Epic > Feature > User Story) hierarchy and metrics.
Coordinate demos to stakeholders. Formalize process
Develop personal relationships with team members to build Scrum Team morale and process buy-in.
Requirements elicitation and artifacts to support project work. Work with Product Owner, Stakeholders and Scrum Team to meet documentation requirements.
Work with team to mature testing processes.
Creating test plans. Determine where manual testing should be automated.
Metrics for testing where applicable.
Coordinate UAT for features delivered to customers.
Work with Automation Team to mature Build and Release processes
Formalize process of release planning and tracking.
Classification of releases as new capabilities for end-users or consumers. Communication plan to end-users when new capabilities are released.
Business value/productivity metrics for automation delivered. Define data points and ensure that automation activities are capturing data for reporting purposes.
Participate in Architecture and Development activities where time allows.
