Diamond PR is interviewing for an experienced Account Executive, preferably with experience relevant to the travel sector, to join our team of smart, creative and dynamic individuals. Looking for a forward thinker, self starter and enthusiastic individual.

Applicants should understand and have experience in all components of public relations, from campaign creation to client communication, and have solid media relationships nationally. An understanding of the travel industry and the workings of the hospitality sector is a definite plus.

3-5 years of PR experience or 2+ years in travel specific PR experience required, agency or in-house.

The ability to:
-Secure regional and national coverage; land big features
-Pitch, secure and coordinate promotional and brand partnerships
-Maintain positive client relationships

-Be an integral part of client conference calls and meetings

What does the day-to-day look like for this position at Diamond PR?
9 am: arrive, get your coffee, chat about the latest news (and/or celebrity gossip), load emails
9:30 am: Dive in... send clips to clients, answer quick emails, priortize client needs
10 am: Spend a couple hours focused on pitching your clients... round ups and trends, or news
12 pm: Team meeting to brainstorm trending and impactful programming ideas for a client
1 pm: Wander in to the kitchen and join a few fellow team members for lunch (usually ordered via UberEats or picked up next door at Publix.) Spend some time with like-minded, down to earth, hysterical co-workers
2 pm: Client conference call to discuss Q4 of the PR plan and how they are pacing for the remainder of the year; talk about group bookings for 2019
2:45 pm: Send out invites for your upcoming press trip to Peru
4:00 pm: Receive a client email that they need a report on media results surrounding their recent renovation; jump on that to get it to them by EOD tomorrow
5:30 pm: Scan through emails and make sure not leaving any deadlines un-met
6:00 pm: Head to tonight's DPR sponsored FitClub activity - Barry's - with a few co-workers

Nothing like the day before.
