Duties and Responsibilities
Grain grading
Microbiology techniques
Preparation of media samples & Solutions
Physical testing of protein, moisture, and ash
Data entry on computer
Operate Various lab equipment
Properly maintain, clean, and disinfect lab equipment
Assist and support other Lab Technicians
Must be able to work both as a team and independently
Able to work on a weekend rotation
Be available for overtime and cover other shifts if necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Understanding of Basic Math, Chemistry, and Biology
Computer Skills (Windows)
Following lab procedures, managing time and lab tests.
An understanding of Lab and Plant Safety
Education and/or training:
An associate degree in technical field, and at least one year experience in laboratory work preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
