Summary:
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly of transmission components. This position must have the ability to read, follow and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. While performing the duties of this job, the Assembly Technician is regularly required to stand for periods of time, and must also be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receives new and incoming transmission cores from disassembly

Interprets, and follows manufacturer instructions to reassemble transmission to product specifications.

Ensures the highest levels of quality in work.

Assembles transmission unit using hand and air tools based on manufacturer specifications.
