The Company:
MSHS provides turnkey solutions to the Marine and Stationary Power industries. Our capabilities include engine repair and maintenance on-board of Yachts as well as on big commercial vessels such as tankers and bulkers. In addition, we service power plants all over the US, Caribbean and South America with our newest location situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Further locations are in New Orleans, Louisiana and Seattle, Washington. However, our headquarters and the site or your internship is in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Engine Sales Division:
As a leader in the maritime industry, MSHS offers complete engine and propulsion services for in the high-speed market of 4-stroke diesel engines both Tier IV and IMO III. Our division is highly skilled in Engine Sales, system designs, and troubleshooting capabilities. Our interaction between the OEMs, shipyard, and clientele is pivotal for the expansion of the various brands we support.

Your tasks:
¨ Assistance in application engineering for customized projects, utilizing CAD (RHINO 3D AudoCAD)

¨ Assisting with spare parts lists and shipping documents for Service orders in the field

¨ Maintenance and improvement of our CRM-system

¨ Assisting with creating job quotations for service performances and spare parts delivery

¨ Composition of future project development strategies for the service business of 4-stroke maritime and power generation

Your qualifications:
¨ Major studies in International Technical Sales, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management

¨ Possess solid Microsoft Office knowledge

¨ Drafting-Knowledge preferred

¨ English written and verbal skills

¨ High affinity in industrial systems and components

¨ Knowledge of engine and marine systems

Eligibility:
¨ Students must have completed their freshman year in college by the time the internship begins.

¨ Post-graduate students are only eligible for an internship the semester immediately following graduation.

¨ Students must also be enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor Program, Master Program, or PhD program.

¨ Students seeking an Associates or Certificate program will not be eligible.
