Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Program Coordinator at our Leominster site.
Orchard Street is a 12-family residential treatment program located in Leominster that serves women in recovery from substance use disorder and their children. This program aims to provide a safe, supportive recovery community that will promote a sense of empowerment, family healing, and life skills essential for women and their children to stabilize and lead drug free, productive lives. A team of staff provides on-site individual, group and family therapy as well as comprehensive children’s services and substance use disorder treatment to promote recovery.
The Program Coordinator oversees the administration and operation of the program in compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of all staff. The Program Coordinator facilitates staff meetings, maintains the program’s census, and oversees the program’s budget. Performs duties using recovery orientated principles.
Ability to hire, train, supervises and evaluates program staff and ensures required competencies are maintained.
Oversight of clinical operations including behavioral and rehabilitative treatment planning for individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Demonstrate person centered strength based communication and relationship with consumers.
Demonstrate effective communication with staff, peers and other professionals.
Operate program in an efficient and effective manner ensuring compliance with BSAS, HUD, DPH and DMH regulatory requirements.
Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field -will consider several years experience in lieu of college degree.
At least 2 years experience working with clients who have substance use disorder.
Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in your own vehicle or a company vehicle
Must be able to pass a CORI (Criminal Offender Background Check) and a DCF/CPS (Department of Families Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services background check)
