Reports To: General Manager
Job Summary: The Warehouse and Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the efficient management of our warehouse operations, ensuring that all materials and equipment are properly inventoried, organized, and delivered to project sites on schedule. The key is to be clean and organized at all times. This role is crucial in minimizing errors and enhancing the overall efficiency of our operations, contributing to the seamless execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Maintenance and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Inventory all items on racks and shelves for efficient recall.
- Organize materials for each project in designated areas, (We call this Kitting the Job) ensuring accuracy and readiness for delivery.
- Label all shelves and materials properly to minimize errors and facilitate easy access.
Material Handling and Inspection:
- Check in all materials for all incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage, marking them clearly for designated projects.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in working order.
Delivery Coordination:
- Deliver all materials to project sites, staging them in the proper work areas.
- Work with the project management to schedule deliveries to job sites.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space.
Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain effective communication with the project management staff and other team members.
- Schedule vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure delivery reliability.
Goals:
- Through organization and efficiency this position is the first step to WOWing the clients
- Minimize errors and missing materials from projects.
- Ensure all shelves and materials are properly labeled for easy visual guidance.
- Deliver all materials and stage them in the proper work area at the jobs site.
