We are currently looking for Certified Medicine Aides (CMA) to join our community. The CMA should possess current and valid licensure through the Maryland Board of Nursing. Experience in a similar position or environment is preferred, but most important is a heartfelt and sincere passion for improving the lives of our residents.

The Certified Medication Aide is a Certified Nursing Assistant or Geriatric Nursing Assistant, who has received special training in medication administration. The CMA has received 60 hours of training and is recognized by the Board of Nursing. CMA's are delegated the medication administration by the RN or LPN.
High school graduate.
Completion of Geriatric Nursing Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant program with current registration, if in the State of Maryland.
CMA – 60 hour medication course consisting of 30 hours theoretical instruction and 30 hours clinical training.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: CMA-GNA/CNA
Experience: 1 – 2 years as a CNA/GNA and completion of appropriate medication course.
