The Principal Security Analyst performs the critical role of making our security strategy, architecture, and policy a reality across our systems and configurations. Leveraging extensive infrastructure expertise, he or she will be on the field to guide our technologists, security professionals, and senior leaders on how to implement secure systems at the firm. This role requires an infrastructure expert whose in-depth understanding spans operating systems, corporate networks, and systems architectures. He or she is an authority on what matters from a security perspective, and is called upon to articulate risks, trade-offs, and courses of action that ensure the company’s information systems are protected while enabling our business to be productive. Given the breadth and exposure of this role, there is a mandate to continuously train and mentor junior members of the team and department.
Advising senior leadership on secure implementation of cutting-edge technologies and architectures
On-going involvement in business-related technology initiatives, including approval authority
Consult on establishment of enterprise security standards that reflect risk tolerance and posture of the firm
Support Incident Response teams as needed
Train and support immediate team members
B.S.; Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
3-5 years experience in Information Security, or a related field
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructures, networking, IAM, end-user computing, software and end-point management etc.
GSEC, CEH, CISSP or comparable certification
Knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, Python with experience scripting solutions in an enterprise environment
