Job Description

Monitors supply chain in order to maximize its efficiency. Deals with a variety of

warehouses, vendors and transporters. Examines the complexities of a supply chain

and looks for ways to make it run efficiently.

  • Gather and Organize Date
  • Communicate with various parties, i.e. transporters, warehousing, logistics personnel to offer suggestions and implement solutions
  • Organize Delivery Schedules
  • Maintain a Competitive Freight Matrix
  • Maintain Stock / Inventory Control
  • Provide Weekly Shipment Position List to respective Clients cc: Broker

Negotiates process between Traders / Counterparts

Processes Shipping Instructions to Origin upon receipt of PO

Follows up on ISF Status – sent by Origin to Broker

Notates vessel details and keeps track of shipments on Interco File Spreadsheet

Creates and Notates PO, GR, SO, DO, PGI in SAP for Direct Shipments and on

Interco File

Forwards OBL’s to Broker/Agent for Customs Clearance upon receipt from Origin

Follows up with Broker 1 week prior to vessel arrival to ensure all in good order

with Customs Clearance to ensure demurrage fees are eliminated

Coordinates delivery arrangements with Trucking Co. prior to arrival of goods

Arrange incoming and outgoing shipments for all Refined Oils (packaged, bulk, ect)

Schedule trucks and railcars for any logistical needs

Communicate and assist all US and Mexican Refined Oils customers with any

scheduling, logistical needs, contract positions ect.

Combine and collaborate with all Wilmar Internal Departments to integrate logistics

with any business processes: customer sales, order management, accounting and

shipment of material in USA, Mexico and Canada

Work directly with WOF’s Traders with “real-time” product positions to ensure

current sales and stocks are covered

Handle all shipments for Refined Oils in US, Mexico and Canada

Maintains precise records of inventory and stocks including all of incoming and

outgoing commodities in US, Mexico and Canada

Schedule and coordinate meetings between bulk carriers to build a stronger

working relationship

Assists in scheduling and tracking bulk vessels

Processes daily reports: production, sales, drage, ect.


Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

This job requires the ability to work alone as well as in a group. The ability to work on all shifts as well as weekends and to be able to communicate well and clearly.

Work Environment: will include manufacturing plants, distributor facilities and offices. Thus, while performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear

Compensation: DOE
