Advice Local is seeking a Project Manager for our Content team. We’re looking for an
individual who is detailed-oriented and one who understands the importance of quality
content. The Project Manager plays a significant role in curating and publishing
engaging content. You are a self-starter, organized and can prioritize multiple requests.

The Project Manager is responsible for developing topics, scheduling, and publishing
content. You will collaborate with SEO, PPC, and Web Dev teams to develop
promotional and informational content for publication for websites, landing pages, blogs,
infographics, white papers and more. In addition, you will develop efficient processes,
establish timelines, and proactively communicate with stakeholders on the delivery of
work product for our clients. As a vital part of the Fulfillment Team, you will contribute
ideas and insight into improving and expanding the role, while keeping our goal of 1%
defect rate top of mind.

Responsibilities and Skills:

 Outstanding copywriting and editing skills
 Proven ability to author clear, concise, and customer-focused content
 Partner with content vendors in delivering quality and on time work product
 Ensuring accuracy and relevancy of copy while ensuring writers are producing
engaging, and at times, personalized content for target audiences
 Curating content and relevant imagery that appeals to customers
 Researching markets and industries to compare and lead writers in creating best-
in-class content
 Ensuring content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of
 Working across departments and fostering constructive cross-team collaboration
 Setting prioritization and schedules based on the content team’s editorial calendar
 Multi-tasking and managing content production - creation, scheduling, publication
and maintenance within a project management tool
 Exercising forward thinking and creativity to continually evolve the role and adapt to
rapidly-changing consumer behaviors


 Bachelor’s Degree (Communications or Journalism preferred)
 A minimum of three (3) years of experience producing marketing content
 A minimum of three (3) years of experience with content management systems
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Efficient in managing workload and communication tasks across the team
 Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques and integrating

 Experience with content personalization
 Experience in multi-tasked, detail and deadline-oriented team environment
