Contract Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation of the franchise contracting process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the review of franchise applications for conversion and new construction contracts, management of the applicant approval and contract negotiation process, preparation of Franchise and Ancillary Agreements, systematic contract data management in Salesforce and Oracle. Contract Coordinator will work directly with Manager/ Director of Contracts Administration, Senior VPs/Regional VPs/Directors/Managers of Franchise Development, Brand VPs, Operations managers, Finance VPs/Managers and in house legal counsel to successfully negotiate and manage contract life cycle for an assigned Development Region (US and/or Canada).

Gather information and all required legal documentation to prepare franchise contracts and ancillary documents necessary to facilitate the contract administration lifecycle. Work directly with Managers, Franchise Developers, franchisees/licensees and members of senior management as necessary to affect an execution of a new construction or conversion franchise contract.

Responsible for follow-up on all licensing/franchising activities related to conversions and new constructions for all Wyndham hotel brands in an assigned region. This includes significant written correspondence with franchise development, legal and finance departments to ensure all contract terms are approved, written and systematically documented with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsible for the data integrity of all auditable information related to franchise contracts within Oracle and Salesforce (data management systems). Accountable for maintaining and updating franchisee information and franchise contract terms. Independently manage the franchise contract administration process in Salesforce, while directly communicating with the sales organization to advise as to the status of assigned contracts within the contract administration process lifecycle.

Research contract terms in executed contracts and accurately provided details on said contracts via written and verbal communication methods as needed to assist in the decision-making processes for the legal, finance and operations team.

Assistance with data integrity, sales, finance, legal and operations projects that impact the franchise contract lifecycle and franchisee related initiatives.

Must show ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently/effectively under pressure.

Must be able to change priorities and work tasks based on the urgency of specific contracts and job tasks as needed.

Must show accountability for work and tasks that are performed.

Work well with and professionally communicate with both internal and external teams to accomplish tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a high level of attention to detail with strong proofreading skills is required.

Must have strong organizational, analytical and time management skills.

Four year degree in business or legal related field.

Paralegal certificate a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe.

Experience with Salesforce, Oracle or other equivalent database management tools.
