Spring 2019 Co-ops (January 2019-August 2019) & Fall 2019 Co-ops (May 2019 – January 2020)
Works to design, develop, test and document new designs as well as design enhancements to Sub-Zero Inc. products. You would create a design, prototype it, build it to test, and then redesign the product to make corrections as needed.
Helps coordinate the complete manufacturing process from sheet metal fabrication all the way to different cells in assembly areas. Performs analysis of procedures and design fixtures while working to increase productivity and efficiency through the plant. Works closely with CNC programmers and design engineers to ensure parts can be manufactured in a safe production mode.
Process Development Engineering
Doing project work associated with our Corporate Development Lab which designs, fabricates and runs tests on various aspects of the manufacturing process.
Assists quality engineering staff in improving quality systems. Works to enhance In-Line product quality and testing of refrigeration/cooking systems and structural dimensions with an emphasis on data capture and analysis.
Works closely with other engineers to develop solutions to reliability issues with current appliance products as well as assisting in the process of reliability assurance during the Product Development cycle on new appliances. Will be given solo projects to lead.
Works closely with other engineers to provide test engineering support for the manufacturing floor. Assists in development, documenting, and building manufacturing test equipment. Will also provide troubleshooting support and training to manufacturing line personnel.
