Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drone Pilot to capture site survey images for our Landscape Architecture firm. The chosen pilot will be paid as a 1099 contractor, and not be an employee. Pilots are paid $125 per site. You will be required to mark specific site data prior to each flight. Total site time per project averages 30 minutes.
Most of our work is in Utah and Salt Lake County where we already have a dedicated drone pilot. We are starting to get more and more projects in Southern Utah, so we are looking for a drone pilot down there that we can rely on and grow with us, as we grow there. Work will be light, so this would make a great part time job or side hustle for anyone who loves drones and fits our culture.
Duties:
- Mark basic site information for survey purposes including property corners and site elevations.
- Safely fly drones to obtain site images.
- Obtain airspace authorization as needed.
- Occasionally communicate with clients to meet on site.
- Organize and share project images and data points.
- Navigate to and identify properties that may or may not be marked.
- Be responsible for your own drone and other needed equipment.
- Be respectful to homeowners.
Requisites:
- Own your own drone.
- Be licensed to fly commercially.
- Have a vehicle to travel throughout Southern Utah.

Pay: $125.00 per hour
