Keeping safety as a high priority, implementing safety principles taught in continuing education and educating others on achieving a low total incident rate (TIR) of fewer than 4.0.

Completing timely and meaningful annual performance reviews for all reporting team members.

Building proposals for smaller projects using the Nexus 5 Group proposal process.
Estimating and developing budgets for projects while keeping the owner’s needs and budgets in mind.
Following up with clients on potential projects 4 days after the proposal has been submitted and then regularly.
Inputting proposals into job folders and systems.
Reviewing all proposals with Vice President or MD before sending them to the clients.
PROJECT MANAGER (PM)
Communicating to Nexus 5 Group personnel the expectation of projects with regard to schedule, budget and man hours.
Creating and coordinating project schedules.
Ensuring that the FTs are reporting their time and materials to you accurately and quickly.
Estimating projects and assisting the Maintenance Director (MD) with projects.
Inspecting work that is being performed to ensure quality and accuracy to the scope.
Keeping all spreadsheets and systems updated, including KeepSTrack and Tech Tools.
Managing work flow, manpower, and forecasting.
Performing job start up meetings with the estimator (if estimator is not the PM) and field technician(s).
Preparing for PM meetings on the proposed Tuesday and Thursday as needed, including: Status of current, completed, and upcoming projects, Invoicing needs, Subcontractor invoicing, Manpower load – Number of FT’s, efficiencies, concerns, etc., Issues, Marketing suggestions.
Scheduling labor requests with the MD.
Tracking each project and reporting progress and position at any time.
Basic qualifications and competencies include:
Experience leading multi construction and light industrial work sites
Ability to travel extensively to both local and nationwide locations, as necessary.
Preferred qualifications and competencies include:
4 year degree or (6+ years) commensurate experience .
