NikSoft is seeking a professional and experienced Business/Financial Analyst that will support our NAVAIR PMA customer at Patuxent River, Maryland - the dynamic CV-22 Program.
Assist with a broad range of financial management duties and responsibilities such as preparing funding documents in various DoD financial management systems and execute funding on behalf of the program.
Will be responsible for monitoring unexpended balances. Duties will include independently researching balances, interacting with government field activities and contractors, determining the appropriate dollar amount for recoupment, and taking proactive action to de-obligate dollars.
Provide reconciliation support by monitoring financial execution information in various systems (CCARs, N-ERP, CRIS and DFAS CHOOSE) and act to reconcile any deltas and ensure that all systems have matching data.
Analyze funding execution status as compared to OSD obligation and expenditure benchmarks, as well as to the program's initial plan. The candidate will inform the program office of any deltas and recommend possible solutions to better align program financial metrics with established OSD benchmarks. The candidate shall utilize prior year financial data to identify trends in program execution.
Provide administrative financial support as needed, to include building financial binders, filing and the like.
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related experience. Relevant work experience or experience and an Associate's degree may be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
The candidate shall have a basic knowledge of the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
The candidate shall be proficient in MS Office tools, to include Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint in order to prepare spreadsheets and presentations for the financial staff and program leadership.
