We are looking for a SharePoint Architect to join the team in our Medford office. The SharePoint Architect is the primary architect for Cambridge Systematics’ SharePoint environment. This is both a strategic and hands-on position with plenty of opportunities for learning and advancement.

S/he provides:
Strong working knowledge of Office365/SharePoint Online from user, admin, and management perspectives
Gather and document customer requirements, analyze customer needs and solution offerings, and develop implementation strategies for technical configurations
Work closely with staff to design and implement content management, collaboration, document management, and records management in SharePoint using agile methodologies, techniques, and tools
Resident expertise on where the Office 365 platform is going with a good understanding of the Microsoft roadmap
Senior level design, support, administration, configuration, and development of SharePoint sites and supporting infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge and experience developing and integrating SharePoint solutions, as the on-staff visionary and implementer.
Working with multiple business partners, IT team members, and occasional third parties to configure and develop the SharePoint platform from the ground up, continuously revising and building upon the platform to meet evolving staff needs.
Provide staff and management guidance on integrating SharePoint with other Office 365 products and platform such as Outlook, PowerBI, Azure, etc.
Experience migrating data from other content management systems to SharePoint
Focus on effective reuse and efficiency across solution sets
Works well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and is a self-motivated, results-driven, and well-organized individual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

SharePoint Design and Development
Develop, design, gain approval for, and implement new SharePoint architecture and solutions
Act as key resource in the initial Office 365 migration and suite implementation; advise and implement best practices for configuring SharePoint.
Architect and build enterprise topology, including intranet and project team sites.
Build custom application integrations.
Create Project Documentation that meets SDLC standards.
SharePoint Support and Maintenance
Enable the organization to adapt and leverage ongoing Office 365 platform improvements
Provide Tier 2 SharePoint operational support for CS staff.
Analyze and recommend SharePoint-based solutions, upgrades, and services to streamline and improve existing systems.
Support third party software and periodic maintenance to include troubleshooting, installation and upgrades, Tier 2 support.
Manage overall server health and functionality.
SharePoint Staff Business Partner
Own and expand the production support relationship and related collaboration with business partners, working cooperatively to optimize and enhance our support model through daily engagement.
Develop training materials and provide training to users of varying levels.
Effectively gather business requirements to recommend, design, and implement solutions.
Investigate, evaluate, and support prioritization of client requests for new or existing solutions.
Technical Leadership
Identify/escalate and/or manage conflicts, issues, and changes to appropriately manage scope.
Create and modify processes, technical designs, and solutions; run walkthroughs to gain feedback and approval.
Assist with and own, as applicable, planning and execution of key project management tasks.

Position Requirements
  • Associate degree or greater in IT/Computer Science or related field required
7+ years of SharePoint development and architecture experience
o Microsoft SharePoint platform and dependent technologies
o Experience in building new Office 365 / SharePoint environments from the ground up
1+ year writing, editing and strategic documentations experience.
1+ year experience with O365 administration.
2+ years PowerShell scripting experience.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, TypeScript etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
Development experience with Microsoft.NET technologies (e.g. ASP.NET, C#, XML, CSS, HTML, IIS, BizTalk Server, SQL Server)
Knowledge and experience working in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
