Data Coordinator/Consultant

Celerity Consulting Group, Inc. has immediate openings for a Data Associate/Consultants. We are looking for sharp and motivated candidates who can effectively interact with our clients and complete assigned tasks. This is ideal for candidates who want to develop consulting, communication, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing business and technical documents, electronic or paper
  • Performing searches using document database software, SAP
  • Working alongside the client to provide project support and data mining expertise
  • Traveling to multiple sites throughout Northern California for collection of data collection
  • Creating and maintaining tracking logs for data and documents from point of collection to return/delivery
  • Manipulating, validating, and formatting data in Excel
  • Performing spreadsheet analyses; summarizing and reporting on results of analyses

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive to assigned locations in Northern California
  • Database Experience (SAP preferred)
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • One year of experience in a client facing and/or customer service role
  • A professional demeanor and effective communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical and/or critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work well with a team or as an individual contributor
  • Experience in the Gas & Utility Industry is a plus

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Ability to move and/or carry boxes up to 30 pounds with or without assistance
  • Incumbents in this position frequently communicate with staff/clients who have inquires on project status; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a mouse, keyboard, scanner, copier, and calculator
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Ability to drive/transport oneself to any assigned Northern California location
