The licensed therapist must be able to clinically assess and document the needs of each client, along with forming an effective treatment plan in an outpatient setting. Appliant must also be able to work with clients to reach goals and complete any and all necessary paperwork. Clinicians provide individual, didactic and group counseling services, and, if applicable, psychological testing to clients and families to assist them in achieving more effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment. Ability to provide substance use services and services to children in addition to adults is desirable.
A valid license to practice in the State of Michigan is required to be obtained prior to starting work (individuals with a LP, LLP, LMSW, LPC, LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMFT will all be considered). Applicant must be personable, have the ability to manage their caseload and the ability to work with diverse clientele and cultural backgrounds.
