Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Business Development Manager to develop and execute the sales strategy for Scaler. This role focuses on attracting new clients and building positive relationships with consultants and potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a sales consultancy approach, ensuring that Scaler's offerings are effectively communicated and adopted.
Responsibilities
Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within client organizations.
Creates potential strategies to further enhance client relationships based on concerns and opportunities identified during client visits
Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that will lead to achiving quarterly growth goals.
Handle contract negotiations, ensuring sustainable economics for both parties.
Utilize strategic sales approaches to demonstrate the value of Scaler's solutions to prospects, using creativity to differentiate our offerings and leveraging market insights and trends.
Focused on achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and increasing customer retention.
Maintain an organized approach, ensuring timely follow-up and attention to both high-level strategy and detailed execution.
Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate negotiations and challenging partner conversations.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in end-to-end sales and/or partnerships.
Experience leading conversations with executive-level external partners.
Well organised and showing initiative
Team player, open-minded
Effective communications and persuasive ability
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as investment, real estate, infrastructure, business, economics, or sustainable finance.
Familiarity with ESG and/or Real Estate sectors is highly preferred.
