Job Summary:
A key member of DevSecOps team of the global DevSecOps team responsible for building and supporting Development, Deployment, Delivery, Operations & Monitoring capabilities in delivering Cloud based solutions to our customers. Participate in the technical implementation of DevSecOps framework across multiple business lines and portfolio to achieve a CI/CD/CT paradigm for a global IoT Cloud that supports product vision and aligns with SaaS driven as well as big data analytics power artificial intelligence-based business strategy. Work as key contributor in the DevSecOps team to design and implement DevSecOps infrastructure and deployment automation and monitoring to ensure systems are highly available, elastically scalable, fault tolerant and performant.

Major Responsibilities:
DevSecOps Automation:
Support the building the Delivery pipeline including Infrastructure and environment provisioning, deployment and monitoring tools that support, enhance and grow a true model for the Cloud platform.
Support maintaining a high level of service availability, support the establishment of quality reviews, operations, and operational issues.
Support the implementation of the technical direction technologies that support software being built to support technology automation for Storage, Backups and Operating system in the public cloud as well as on-premises
Develop infrastructure as code on AWS (or GCP/Azure) using best practices and implementations for non-production and production environments
Support operations within a Public (AWS and/or GCP) cloud environments. Ensure the availability, performance, reliability, and reporting of global cloud data centers and enterprise networks
Design and develop infrastructure and systems needed to run corporate, production, development and quality assurance systems worldwide in a 24x7 environment.
Develop utilities by improving productivity in delivery orchestration, proactive monitoring, self-healing automation and operations validations
Design and develop re-usable components and operational strategies in the to support scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, restore, etc.
Support the improvement our knowledge base and provide implementation support in deployment automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, monitoring, automated scaling, building reliable services up to 99.999% availability.
Create automation scripts, UI’s, and continuous delivery pipeline that enhance and expand our DevSecOps services
Support and improve our tools for continuous delivery DevOps pipeline, automated operations validation testing and release management procedures.
Profile build, test and deployment process, identify and resolve bottlenecks
Automate and Integrate code analysis, tests and review capabilities in CD framework
Support automation and integration of tools with web-based dashboards for displaying code, build, test results
Design and develop code with re-usable components and operational strategies in the cloud to support scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, restore, etc.
Automate and Integrate code analysis, tests and review capabilities in DevSecOps framework
Support automation and integration of tools with web-based dashboards for displaying code, build, test results
Work in a DevOps style team-based environment providing end-to-end DevSecOps solutions for the Cloud hosted platform solution
Support the execution of cloud automation strategy for enterprise applications and application components.
Leverage modern software design principles around Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, version control and performance metrics

DevSecOps Operations:
Work on a high velocity team that is expected to deliver solutions in a few weeks from concept to delivery to operations
Take an automation first approach to streamline business processes
Define and execute cloud automation strategy for enterprise applications and application components
Support, maintain and develop cloud-based software like Mesosphere, docker and puppet
Develop and maintain architectural strategies, support, and system documentation
Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
Build and maintain an automated DevOps delivery/deployment model to enable continuous release of software into cloud environments
Provides support and troubleshooting of prior developed technology solutions.
Participate in 24x7 rotation including on-call and off shifts
System availability and uptime, capacity planning, maintenance scheduling, and disaster recovery.
Perform software upgrades and installations as required in support of cloud strategy
Assist with the addition of new customers and users into cloud-hosted solution.

Knowledge Skill and Requirements:
Has global understanding of department’s mission and vision and the ability to communicate that to the teams to motivate and inspire them to work as a cohesive force.
Ability to manage frequent change, mitigate delays or unexpected events.
Experience taking to the Cloud new products and services, building the production infrastructure along with the monitoring and alerting systems
Experience designing, building and managing large scale distributed software defined infrastructure in AWS, GCP & Azure, including experience leveraging one or more coding languages for automation
Expertise in designing highly secure cloud services and cloud infrastructure. Experience in successfully taking cloud services through security certifications would be a plus.
Knowledge and working experience of the CI/CD development pipeline and experience of the DevSecOps maturity model
Working experience of modern engineering operations duties, including providing the necessary tools and infrastructure to support high performance development and QA teams.
Proven experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering practices and culture.
Experience with Agile development, techniques and methodologies and with CI/CD
Working knowledge of several configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc.) and several monitoring tools and frameworks (Nagios, Zabbix, Sensu, Prometheus, etc.)
Experience in driving process improvements, with a strong focus on leveraging technology for the establishment of fluid interactions and interfaces between teams
Strong background in Linux and knowledge of the Windows server environment
Experience building and managing large scale infrastructure in AWS and Google Engine, including experience leveraging one or more coding languages for automation
Prior work in high load and high-traffic infrastructure would be a plus
Perform quality reviews, manage operations, and triage operational issues
Knowledge and experience of software development practices. Knowledge of one of several programming languages would be a plus (C#, JavaScript, Java, Python, SQL)
Exceptional verbal, written communication and organizational skills, along with interpersonal skills that allow for collaboration across a diverse group of people
A proven track record of leading an operations team globally
Demonstrable hands-on experience as an Infrastructure Engineer installing and configuring server and/or network hardware and software
Experience with configuration management and automation frameworks
Extensive experience with automation of Infrastructure
operations teams Awareness, understanding and curiosity about data science and machine learning
Proven track record of managing multiple, competing tasks and objectives
Experience working in cloud-based environments, including the design and set up of cost-effective systems in these environments
Creation and adherence to industry/customer accepted SLAs
Hands-on experience working within both on premise, Public (AWS and/or Azure) Cloud environments
Experience with and Agile related tools, practices, and culture
Experience in test automation techniques, both functional (TDD) and behavioral (BDD).
Applied experience with modern application technologies and design patterns including infrastructure (AWS, Azure is a plus)
Demonstrated experience in configuration automation using Chef, Puppet, Docker, etc
Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure as code such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Azure Resource Templates, etc.
Strong familiarity with Linux/Windows OS and system administration
Familiarity with monitoring and optimizing large scale enterprise applications and database performance
Evaluate industry best practices and new technologies to drive effective adoption and implementation.
Proficient in one or more of the following monitoring and logging tools: Sumo logic, Sensu, New Relic, App dynamics, Neustar, Gomez, Nimsoft, Zabbix, Nagios, Ganglia, Cacti, Splunk, Logstash, Graphite.
Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems, their underlying components, system statistics, performance tuning, filesystems and io.
Strong knowledge of networks, compute, cloud, virtualization, network infrastructure, telecom networks, circuits, datacenter technologies and best practices
Exposure to: OpenStack, Hadoop, Pivotal HD, HAWQ, RabbitMQ, Redis, Jenkins, IaaS [Compute – Linux, Storage, Palo Alto Network FW, F5 load balancers]
Able to work under minimal supervision
Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility

Technical Expertise:
Expertise in configuration management tools such as Perforce, SVN, Github, Gitlab.
Expertise with Continuous Integration tools such as Electric Cloud – Flow build/test or Jenkins.
Expertise with one or more of the following: Artifactory, Nexus, or other artifact repository management tool.
Expertise with static analysis/software quality tools such as SONAR Qube.
Expertise with Agile software development practices, use of Rally or JIRA
Expertise in virtualized environment set-up, maintenance and ongoing development
Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Perl.
Expertise with build tools such as Maven, Ant, Gradle
Expertise in Build-time dependency management in Java, Javascript, C++ (Maven, Bower, Gradle, ivy)
Able to work in a team environment by demonstrating excellent written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to translate engineering processes into tools workflows
Familiarity with product development (including C++, Java, Javascript, XML & Web Services)
Deep Expertise with at least one third generation automation and configuration management solution such as Chef
Advanced scripting skills using Python/Ruby/Bash and/or Powershell.
Experience with the whole Continuous Integration an Continuous Deployment pipeline ecosystem including tools such as Sonar, Perforce, Electric Commander, Jenkins, Artifactory, and analysis tools
Experience with implementation of Cloud application fabric and/or PaaS technologies
Familiarity with Hadoop and Big Data technologies.Education Requirements:

BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related fields or equivalent work experience
7+ years minimum years’ experience of product development support in the global setting
5+ years of experience as an established member of DevOps or Build & Release teams, with proven track record of successfully delivering services
5+ years of experience in Linux/Unix environments
3+ years leading and mentoring technical resources
AWS Solutions architect associate certification – required
AWS SysOps associate certification – preferred
AWS DevOps associate certification - preferred
AWS Solutions architect professional certification – preferred
