16-day Class/Clinical is offered monthly at various training sites, Monday through Friday daylight hours (Perfect attendance and punctuality is required)
Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct resident care as directed by the nurse including all activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, toileting and ambulating residents

Document in the medical record according to established procedures.

Maintain a safe environment including completing safety checks, keeping unit and resident rooms clean and organized, cleaning equipment, and changing linens

Contribute to unit activities including, but not limited to, responding to call lights and telephones timely, passing nourishments and transporting residents.

Perform resident weights, vital signs and Intake &Outputs.

Provide updates to the nurse regarding residents' care and changes in resident status
-
Constructively receives feedback and direction. Identify and communicates learning needs to instructor and manager. Participate in self-review and check ins with manager. Establish professional and respectful interpersonal relationships.

Strictly adhere to all policies and practices relative to resident care and facility, including standard precautions.

Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days or hire if entering a position as part of CNA training program, employee has 120 days to obtain CNA
