The Chapter and Industry Relations Specialist is responsible for executing strategies in support of PHCC’s affiliated chapter services and business development initiatives. Establishes and sustains relationships with PHCC’s affiliated state and local associations, corporate partners, major sponsors, associate members and service providers. The position reports to the Senior Director of Member Services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for PHCC state and local chapter leaders
Develop strategies to support affiliated chapters
Facilitate communication and relationship-development between the PHCC and affiliated chapters
Identify resources/assistance needed by chapters and provide support, guidance and oversight
Serve as staff liaison to chapter-related volunteer teams and committees
Promote PHCC initiatives to chapters and assist with implementation
Implement plans to cultivate new PHCC chapters
Maintain Chapter Resource Center
Plan and execute leadership development activities
Serve as the primary point of contact for PHCC Associate members, develop an outreach program to facilitate engagement and use of benefits to grow the relationship with PHCC
Serve as the “concierge” to provide guidance for PHCC’s Corporate Partners and major sponsors
Create and manage timetable for deliverables with sponsors and PHCC staff
Coordinate sponsorship invoicing and collection
Work with PHCC and Foundation staff to collect, analyze data and prepare for partner/sponsor fulfillment reports
Assist in preparation of partner and sponsor proposals
Assist with exhibit sales
Responsible for tracking sponsorships in AMS
Handle routine communications, administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s s degree and equivalent of at least five -years related experience in association membership/chapter relations, business development and fundraising. Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Citrix Systems (GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar), RealMagnet
Practical experience with association membership management software, netForum a plus
Ability to travel several times a year
Salary range is $55,000 - $60,000 per year.
