The Financial Reporting Manager reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and is primarily responsible for the monthly financial consolidation process. This position is also responsible for assisting with the SEC reporting cycle for the Forms 10-K and 10-Q. In addition, the position will provide technical accounting support, assist in special projects including acquisition integration, implementation of new accounting requirements and process improvements, and provide support for annual audits. Responsibilities also include the development and maintenance of the Company’s new accounting manual, reviewing and understanding account reconciliations within each business unit and communicating the results of the review both with the individuals responsible at the business unit and the Director of Financial Reporting. This position requires good understanding of SAP BPC, BlackLine and WDesk (respectively the Company’s financial consolidation, account reconciliation and financial reporting tools).


Manage/own the consolidation process of a global manufacturing organization using SAP BPC. This includes:
Frequent coordination with SBU personnel across multiple time zones
Assisting with complex Intercompany account reconciliations between segments/entities
Providing guidance to global personnel over the input process
Posting topside consolidating/adjusting entries
Assist in the preparation of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and other company filings:
Create statements and footnotes.
Review of 10-K/Q documents for consistency (i.e. ensure all numbers tie internally).
Track required documentation from SBU team on a quarterly basis.
Assist the legal department with preparation of other filings, including the Annual Proxy filing.
Assist in the Company’s XBRL reporting process.
Stay abreast of and research accounting and disclosure guidance, as well as peer company disclosures, to propose best practices in external reporting and implement applicable changes to Company’s reporting.
As assigned, act as lead accounting expert responsible for specialized accounting areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, etc.
Provide support for the annual audit and quarterly reviews.
Work with outsourced internal audit function, including coordination of internal control documentation and testing requirements.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of Corporate Accounting Manual in accordance with US GAAP.
Review account reconciliations within BlackLine reporting tool.
Review detailed balance sheets.
Ensure account reconciliations are understandable and contain appropriate level of support.
Assist with standardization of account reconciliations.
Ensure that all issues within account reconciliations are appropriately addressed.
Communicate with SBU’s regarding outcome of review.
Assist with all required census information.
Ad hoc support on projects where US GAAP guidance is needed.


Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance with MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
A minimum of 5 years overall accounting and financial reporting experience with increasing levels of responsibility required.
Prior corporate financial accounting and/or reporting experience desired.
SEC experience preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
Experience with SAP BPC and Workiva/WDesk preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills/ability to relate to all levels of management.
